So I bought 5 new glowlights (well actually 4, one was an imposter - a Celestichthys erythromicron that was in the glowlight tank at the store) 2 days ago, and yesterday while doing a water change, I noticed eggs under the moss. They spawned in the quarantine tank! I wasn't expecting it or prepared for it.

I’ve had my 55 gallon tank running for 1 Year, but I have changed many things in my two Tidal 110 Filters over this time, adding more sponges recently adding new bio ceramic to completely fill it up, I have Australian Rainbows

Hi! I have a 3 gallon tank with one betta and snail.
Water parameters are 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite, ph 7, KH 1. Water temp 81, heated, filtered, cycled, and with bubbler.

New person, worked in a pet hop when i was real young and became the fish guy. So recently while cleaning out a ladies basement she gave me a 30 gallon octagon tank. We have been cycling a new tank (200L) for a week and a half now and were told by our local aquarium shop to add quick start daily to help it along. Woke up this morning and my bf accidentally picked up the Accu-clear and added 50mL in… (a. This is why I look after the chemicals and b. Accu-clear dose is 5mL per 190L so it’s 10x the dose)
I wanna cry, is there anything we can do?
We we’re planning on adding fish in 4 days

Hi there! I’ve had my CAE for 4.5 years. She has always been perfectly healthy, always active a lot at night, hides a bit during the day. I have 4 large mystery snails that live in a large clean filtered heated large tank together with no fish or other snails.

Help guppies keep dying. I have 2 which now 1 guppy for each 6.5 gallon tank. Temp is 80 degrees. No Ammonia, little Nitrate, 0 Nitrites. I had 2 guppies die already. What am I doing wrong? I also did a water change at 50 percent.

Based on my research, I want to have a calm surface to minimize CO2 escaping. But at the same time, I want to have a choppy surface to dissolve oxygen. How do I navigate that?

I have a HOB filter, so my water is always choppy. Could that be why my plants don't do well? Should I test the CO2? Does it even make sense to add a CO2 system or would it escape too quickly?

hi, everyone!

Is Tetra sick? I have 40 gallon tank with air stones and 2 filters made for a 40 gallon. One of my tetras is hanging out on top of the tank. It looks like my tetra is gasping for air. My other fish are fine. Temp is 77-79 deg. Is this normal? he is a red eyed tetra. My tank is cycled. there is no ammonia.

I just lost 2 guppies. Are molly fish harder than guppies? Can I put molly fish in a 6.5 gallon tank? If so how many of them? I am not having any luck with the guppies, they all keep dying. I just read that molly fish need at least 30 gallon tank, well there went that idea. I am looking for a fish that is hardy, that would do well in a in 6.5 gallon tank, any ideas, No Bettas they also keep dying. please share, thanks, My friend suggested a Gold Fish. lol

I have this snail in my tank, I'm not sure if it was from a plant I bought but that was about a month ago until I seen this little one, I recently picked a couple of dry leaves next to a river and put them in the tank, (would there had been eggs on the leaves)? a week or 2 later I saw this little feller in here, can anyone tell me what type of snail it is? He's pretty fast too.

Hi Team,

I have a 180L freshwater planted aquarium with driftwood and gravel as a substrate. Currently I have it stocked with 20 Neon Tetras and 3 Starlight Plecos (fry). I am considering adding a few cichlids. Perhaps 2 Apistogrammas? Or something slightly bigger at around 10-12cm with a peaceful temperment?

Also wanting to add 6-8 Gold Laser Corydoras. Any suggestions?
